Tomoko Shirasawa
白澤 知子
TCRG / ADCRG
白澤知子は、日本におけるアイリッシュダンスの第一人者であり、
2010年に日本人として初めてCLRG（An Coimisiún Le Rincí Gaelacha）で教師資格と2024年に国際審査員資格を獲得した先駆者である。
世界基準の指導と審査を行うことができる、日本で唯一の講師として活動している。
1998年、アイルランドでマイケル・ディロンに師事。2005年からはアイルランドのクレアおよびリムリックに留学し、
アンソニー・ノーランの指導のもと、オールアイルランド選手権やマンスター地区チャンピオンシップなどの競技会に参加。数々の賞を獲得する。
2009年、Ardagh School of Irish Dance を設立し、日本におけるアイリッシュダンスの普及に尽力。
2016年には日本初のアイリッシュダンス競技会（Feis）および国際検定試験（Grade Exam）を開催し、国内の競技レベル向上にも貢献している。
生徒たちはアジア、ヨーロッパ、アメリカの競技会に定期的に参加し、数々の賞を受賞。中には世界選手権に出場し、国際舞台で活躍する生徒もいる。
また、自身のスクールでの指導に加え、インターナショナルスクールなど国際的な教育機関でも指導経験を持つ。
さらに、日本国内のイベントやメディアにも多数出演し、多方面でアイリッシュダンスの魅力を発信している。
Tomoko Shirasawa is a pioneer of Irish dance in Japan,
becoming the first Japanese individual to earn the CLRG (An Coimisiún Le Rincí Gaelacha) teaching certification in 2010 and the international adjudicator certification in 2024.
As the only instructor in Japan qualified to provide world-standard teaching and judging, she is a leading figure in the field.
In 1998, she studied under Michael Dillon in Ireland.
From 2005, she furthered her training in Clare and Limerick, Ireland, under the guidance of Anthony Nolan,
competing in prestigious events such as the All-Ireland Championships and Munster Championships, where she won numerous awards.
In 2009, she founded Ardagh School of Irish Dance, dedicating herself to promoting Irish dance in Japan.
In 2016, she organised Japan’s first Irish dance competition (Feis) and international Grade Examinations, significantly contributing to elevating the competitive level in the country.
Her students regularly participate in competitions across Asia, Europe, and the Americas,
earning numerous accolades, with some even competing on the global stage at the World Championships.
In addition to teaching at her own school,
Tomoko has experience instructing at international schools and other educational institutions.
She has also appeared in various events and media in Japan, passionately spreading the charm of Irish dance to diverse audiences.
